It had been 7+ years since we last visited Martha's Pantry in Wellington. After today, it definitely won’t be another 7 years!
We had a lovely afternoon, the tea selection consisted of more than 20 different tea options and I re-discovered an old favourite, the one and only “Paris” by Harney & Sons.
The standard of food was excellent. The standouts for me were the Avocado Herb Rosti, the Amaretti and the (large) light, fluffy scone with jam and cream.
The decor has been modernised but it still holds on to the warm, homely and quaint style Martha’s is known for.
To enjoy wonderful company, with both existing and new members over delicious food and tea made for a perfect Sunday afternoon.
